with Rifle in GHA 1 on September 22, 2023My first big game harvest! People may know me as a multi species angler but now I can add hunter to my profile! I had the opportunity to visit the Arctic and couldn't pass up the special adventure in a truly unique area of the Province. Thanks to the Manitoba Master Hunter Program my caribou can be viewed by others and hopefully provide inspiration to travel to pursue new species. Spot and stocked to100 yards, busted, the bull ran to 275 yards, single shot from my 280 REM. Scored 325.

with Muzzleloader in GHA 25A on November 02, 2017I spent many hours with my dad setting up tree stands and finding rubs and scrapes. I saw the deer cross over private land that we did not have permission to hunt on and my dad told me to have patience it will come out to the area that we have permission in. Sure enough after my dad grunted a little the buck came out onto our property 25 yards from my stand. I made a perfect shot right in the lungs and found the deer laying there 75 yards in the bush. I am having tenderloin tonight

with Rifle in GHA 30 on November 24, 20191630hrs my Partner and I were sitting in a tree line when this little buck walked out of the bush at approximately 100 yards. Single shot and he was on the ground.

Caribou
with Rifle in GHA 1 on September 08, 2023September 8th 2023, while setting up camp prior to my 2023 guiding for Munroe Lake Lodge I spotted 2 caribou across the lake. I proceeded to head over and gain a vantage point to glass the animals. While I walked up to get a better view I came upon 2 great bulls. After a period of time admiring them both I made the choice to harvest the large shoveled bull. This was a great start to a very special and successful guiding season that I'll remember forever where clients left as friends.

Greater Canada Goose

I had missed everything I shot at the day before, and this day the geese were not coming near me. I saw them flying over a patch of trees so I decided to hide in there. A group flew over and I shot. Nothing moved and I thought I missed again. About 20 feet from where I shot a bird dropped.
